It’s not always easy to know how much turf you will need to order. To help with ordering we have put together an easy to navigate turf calculator that you can find below.
We recommend using it to make the ordering process easier for you – helping you to get the amount of lawn you need first time around. Alternatively, you can sketch out the area you require new turf for and bring your sketch and measurements in to Anco Geelong when ordering. Utilising this, we can work out how much turf you will need.
Measuring your yard for turf
With a tape, measure the area of your planned lawn and the overall shape; square / rectangle, triangle or circle. Include these measurements on a sketch of the lawn area with the length and width and any unusual features. Anco Geelong can determine the amount of turf you will need from your sketch. If the area is of a rectangular shape, then all you need do is phone the measurements through and we will work it out for you.
